Identity / Mission

Michael Wade is a technical artisan building household infrastructure for autonomous intelligence. Wade Digital is the lab where these systems are designed, tested, and shipped.

The mission is direct: build practical AI agents that help people reclaim focus, make better decisions, and operate outside extractive platform dynamics.

Michael Wade

Dad, hacker, philosopher, and maker. I care less about novelty and more about durable capability. That means local-first systems, reproducible pipelines, and a clear chain from idea to shipped utility.

Current orientation:

  • Build household Minds that hold state and execute real work.
  • Favor compounding systems over hype-cycle experiments.
  • Keep operators sovereign over their data and workflows.

You can follow the work on Bluesky, inspect code on GitHub, and track experiments on YouTube.

Zephyr

Zephyr is the operating partner: not a chatbot waiting for prompts, but an active collaborator that runs operational loops.

Core duties include CRM hygiene, digest prep, pipeline orchestration, vault curation, and fleet diagnostics.

Household Minds should run your life in the background, not consume it in the foreground.

The Stack

  • OpenClaw: runtime layer for agent reasoning and tool execution.
  • Docker Fleet: isolated hatchlings for clean boundaries and reliable deployment.
  • MQTT Bus: inter-agent coordination and telemetry messaging.
  • Obsidian Vault: persistent local-first memory.
  • Astro + Cloudflare: fast static delivery for public web surfaces.

Philosophy

Technology should increase agency, not dependency. We build systems that are understandable, local-first, and usable by real households and operators.

Wade Digital exists to turn that principle into working infrastructure.
